A faenriin without a familiar. In a state of suspended adolescence.
A “normal” faenriin with the ability to perform creation and destruction magic. Their eyes and hair reflect the ivory and white of Amarynox and the reds of Caexeros.
The continent of the faenriin. Nestled deep in the miasma-covered oceans.
The proud, immortal beings that live on the continent of Faenrien. The only species to wield creation and destruction magic. Considered by most non-faenriin to be mythical beings. Means “Aesren-Blessed (species).”
A faenriin’s magical partner. Usually an animal. Blessed faenriin without a familiar are known as Abeyant.
A faenriin’s special brand of creation magic. Something that even other faenriin stand in awe of.
A faenriin without the Blessings of Amarynox and Caexeros. Cannot wield creation or destruction magic or form a bond with a familiar. Ignored by most faenriin.
Dragons and drakaryn collectively. Their homeland is Drakien. They are physically powerful and wield magic in the form of elemental breath.
Humanoid dragons. It’s said that drakaryn were born after a group of dragons went on a pilgrimage to become more like people, to which their Aesren gave them this form.
The central continent of the world. Home to dragons, drakaryn, serathiin, daemor, and several human groups.
The council that serves as the government of Eirenos and associated settlements. The Drathyre holds public forums to discuss all issues related to the city and its territories. All matters are put to a vote, with the most senior Thyiire serving as the tiebreaker.
The capital city of the draconics, deep in the heart of Drakien.
A member of the Drathyre. There are always five Thyiire. Challengers may attempt to win one of their seats through the Trials of Wisdom and Strength.
The gods and goddesses of the world. There are 14 universally acknowledged Aesren, though different species place certain Aesren above others.
A magic user. Their souls produce mana and convert it into magic at their command.
The conversion of mana into various supernatural phenomena. There are 14 types of magic, each associated with a different Aesren.
An invisible energy form that allows the usage of magic. Comes in two forms: atmospheric and personal.
Poisoned mana. Highly toxic, especially to mages. It blankets the planet’s oceans and sections of the continents.
